According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia and the Agricultural Registers and Information Board (ARIB), the utilised agricultural area this year is 983,400 hectares, which is 4,400 hectares less than in 2023. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, the average monthly gross income per employee was 1,234 euros, which is 79 euros more than in 2017. Gross income has been on the rise since 2011.

In March, trade increased with EU countries

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2019, compared to March 2018, the exports of goods increased by 8% and imports by 5%. The trade growth was due to increased exports and imports with the European Union countries.
