According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2019, enterprises sold goods and services for 16.4 billion euros, which was 5% more than in the same period the year before.

Average wages and salaries were highest in information and communication
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2019, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,397 euros. Year on year, wages and salaries increased by 8.2%. The average hourly gross wages and salaries were 8.01 euros, which is 7% more than in the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Statistical Council gave a recommendation on the organisation of the register-based census
The Statistical Council, formed by the order of the Government of the Republic, convened on 26 November. At the meeting, the results of the second trial census of the population and housing census were presented. The Statistical Council supports the decision of Statistics Estonia to combine the register-based census with sample surveys.
