Construction volume down by 5% in the third quarter

In the third quarter, the total production value of Estonian construction enterprises was 1,127 million euros, including 686 million euros’ worth of building construction and 441 million euros’ worth of civil engineering. In the last 20 years, the share of people walking to work has fallen by nearly half. There is less use of public transport, while commuting by car has risen.
