According to Statistics Estonia, in August, 331,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments. Their total number of nights spent was 591,000. Compared to August 2019, the number of tourists dropped by a third.

The interactive charts provide an overview of the situation of enterprises on the basis of VAT returns. The statistics cover companies liable to VAT and self-employed persons who have submitted a VAT return. Data are presented for three time periods. According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2020, the labour force participation rate was 71.8%, the employment rate was 66.3%, and the unemployment rate was 7.7%. There were 54,300 unemployed persons, which is 4,900 more than in the second quarter of the year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2019, enterprises sold goods and services for 14.8 billion euros, which was 7% more than in the same period the year before.
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2019, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and in foreign countries amounted to 3.2 billion euros, which is 3% more than in 2018. Taking into account only Estonian construction market, construction volume stayed at the level of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2020, the production of industrial enterprises was the same as in July 2019. Production decreased in manufacturing but increased in energy and mining.
