In the 4th quarter, the number of job vacancies decreased

According to Statistics Estonia, there were almost 6,600 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 4th quarter of 2015. The number of job vacancies decreased by 25.5% compared to the previous quarter and by 8.4% compared to the 4th quarter of 2014. In 2015, the number of job vacancies was the largest in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

The interactive charts provide an overview of the situation of enterprises on the basis of VAT returns. The statistics cover companies liable to VAT and self-employed persons who have submitted a VAT return. Data are presented for three time periods. Today, on 16 November, the geographic information systems (GIS) and geography day is held at the National Library of Estonia from 10:00 to 17:00. Among other things, visitors can see the map applications created for the Population and Housing Census which begins at the end of this year.
