According to Statistics Estonia, there were almost 8,900 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 3rd quarter of 2015. The number of job vacancies increased by 4.8% compared to the previous quarter and by 3.3% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2014.

From 2025 onwards, Statistics Estonia will no longer update short-term labour market statistics. The publication of short-term labour market statistics was based on a commissioning contract and the contract expired in 2024. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2020, the gross hourly earnings of female employees were 15.6% smaller than the earnings of male employees. The gender pay gap decreased by 1.5 percentage points year on year.

According to Statistics Estonia, the average monthly gross wages and salaries in the second quarter of 2023 were 1,873 euros, which is 12.4% higher than in the same quarter last year. The median wages were 1,524 euros in the second quarter this year.

According to Statistics Estonia, the data of the Innovation Survey show that 56.8% of enterprises were innovative in 2010. The innovativeness of enterprises remained on the level of 2008, when the innovative enterprises accounted for 56.4%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2012, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 887 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 5.34 euros. Compared to 2011, the average monthly gross wages and salaries grew 5.7% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries 6.0%.

According to Statistics Estonia, there were about 8,300 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 1st quarter of 2016. The number of job vacancies increased by 25% compared to the previous quarter and by 14% compared to the 1st quarter of 2015.
