In March, the producer price index of industrial output increased

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2015, the producer price index of industrial output changed by 0.6% compared to February 2015 and by -0.6% compared to March 2014.

In March, compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by an increase in prices in mining, in the manufacture of electronic products and wood products, but also by a decrease in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the manufacture of food products.

Compared to March 2014, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in the manufacture of electronic products, food products and fuel oils, but also by an increase in prices in mining and in the manufacture of metal products.

In March 2015, the export price index changed by 0.8% compared to February 2015 and by -3.3% compared to March 2014.

In March, compared to the previous month, the prices of oil products, chemical products and peat products increased more than average, while the prices of electricity, building materials and rubber and plastics products decreased more than average.

In March 2015, the import price index changed by 1.7% compared to February 2015 and by -3.3% compared to March 2014.

In March, compared to the previous month, the prices of oil products, leather and chemical  products increased more than average, while the prices of electricity, wood products and building materials decreased more than average.
