According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2014, the production of industrial enterprises rose 5% compared to November of the previous year. The production increased in manufacturing and energy, but decreased in mining.

Since January 2014, manufacturing has shown a growth in production compared to the same month of the previous year. The year-over-year increase in manufacturing production was 7% in September and 4% in October, whereas in November production rose 6% compared to November of the previous year. Production exceeded the volume of November 2013 in half of the branches of industry. The growth in production was influenced the most by an increase in the manufacture of electronic products where production grew by more than one-third. 7% more wood products and 9% more metal products were produced. The volume of production fell in the manufacture of furniture, chemicals and building materials.

In November, 70% of the whole production of manufacturing was sold on the external market. Compared to November 2013, export sales of manufacturing production rose 6% and domestic sales 2% according to unadjusted data.

In November 2014, the seasonally adjusted total industrial production as well as the production of manufacturing grew 2% compared to the previous month.

Compared to November 2013, the production of electricity decreased 2% and the production of heat increased 14%.
