The producer price index of industrial output increased in June

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2013, the producer price index of industrial output changed by 2.5% compared to May and by 6.0% compared to June 2012.

In June, compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, as well as by the decrease in prices in the manufacture of wood and wood products and in mining.

Compared to June 2012, the producer price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the manufacture of food products, as well as by the decrease in prices in the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products.

In June 2013, the export price index changed by -0.3% compared to May 2013 and by -0.1% compared to June 2012.

In June, compared to the previous month, the prices of metals, oil products, wood and chemical products decreased more than average and the prices of electricity and rubber and plastic products increased more than average.

In June 2013, the import price index changed by -0.1% compared to May 2013 and by -1.9% compared to June 2012.

In June, compared to the previous month, the prices of agricultural products, metals and leather products and footwear decreased more than average and the prices of electricity increased more than average.
