Producer price indices increased in November

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2011, the change in producer price index of industrial output was 0.1% compared to October and 3.0% compared to November of the previous year.

In November compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the production of food and metal products and by the decrease in prices in the manufacture of beverages.

Compared to November 2010, the index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the manufacture of food products and chemicals and chemical products as well as by the decrease in prices in the production of computer and electronic products.

In November 2011 the export price index changed by 1.0% compared to October 2011 and by 9.6% compared to November of the previous year.

In November compared to the previous month, the prices of agricultural products, mineral fuels and metals increased more than average, and the prices of peat products and wearing apparel decreased more than average.

In November 2011 the import price index changed by 1.3% compared to October 2011 and by 9.8% compared to November of the previous year.

In November compared to the previous month, the prices of mineral fuels and wood products increased more than average, and the prices of agricultural and leather products decreased more than average.
