Producer price indices increased in November

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2010 the producer price index of industrial output increased by 0.4% compared to October and by 5.4% compared to November of the previous year.

In November compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the production of food products. Compared to November 2009, prices increased the most in the production of metal products.

In November 2010 the export price index decreased by 0.1% compared to October 2010 and increased by 8.1% compared to November of the previous year.

In November compared to the previous month, the export price index was more than average influenced by the decrease in the prices in the manufacture of wearing apparel and wood and wood products and by increase in prices in the production of food products and metals and metal products.

In November 2010 the import price index increased by 1.7% compared to October 2010 and by 9.6% compared to November of the previous year.

In November compared to the previous month, the import price index was more than average influenced by the increase in the prices of mineral fuels, agricultural products and chemical products.
