According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2022, Estonian accommodation establishments served nearly 420,000 tourists, which is 23% more than in August last year. The number of foreign tourists* increased and the number of domestic tourists fell.

A total of 23 million tonnes of goods were transported through Estonian ports, 10 million tonnes less than a year earlier. Estonian railways carried a total of 10.1 million tonnes of freight last year, 43% less than in 2022.
According to Statistics Estonia, in June, the consumer price index increased by 2.7% compared to May, and by 21.9% compared to June 2021. Goods were 17.9% and services 29.7% more expensive than in June last year.
