According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2020, the gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 0.7% compared to the 1st quarter of 2019. The GDP at current prices was 6.5 billion euros.

The focus of the global goal “Reduced Inequalities” is safe, controlled and regular migration, and increasing the influence of developing countries in making economic and financial decisions. The 2030 Agenda lays down that the incomes of the 40% of population earning the least must grow faster than national averages. According to Statistics Estonia, 37,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in May 2020. Their total number of nights spent was 83,000. The number of tourists decreased by 88% year on year.
