Passenger traffic through Tallinn Airport was unchanged last year, air freight transport increased
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2025, Tallinn Airport served nearly 3.5 million passengers, which is at the same level as the year before. There was a decrease in passenger traffic on domestic routes between Tallinn and the main islands. The air transport of freight and mail increased.
HICP flash estimate: prices down by 0.2% in March
According to the preliminary estimate of Statistics Estonia, in March, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), which includes the expenditures of tourists, decreased by 0.2% compared with February. Compared with March last year, the HICP rose by 3.3%. This is a flash estimate which will be refined once more detailed data on March prices are received.
In January, the consumer price index was up by 3.7% year on year
According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2026, the consumer price index increased by 1% compared with December 2025 and by 3.7% compared with January 2025. Compared with December, food prices were up by 2.3% in January.

Starting from January 2026, Statistics Estonia uses a new methodology to calculate the consumer price index (CPI). The CPI classification has also been updated, with price changes now tracked across 13 main groups.
In November, the consumer price index was up by 4.9% year on year
According to Statistics Estonia, in November, the consumer price index decreased by 0.2% compared with October and increased by 4.9% compared with November 2024. Goods were 2.9% and services 7.9% more expensive than in November last year.

Producer price index of industrial output up by 0.6% in October
The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, increased by 0.3% in October 2025 compared with September and by 0.6% compared with October last year.

Construction price index up by 1.7% compared with the third quarter of last year
According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2025, the construction price index increased by 0.2% compared with the second quarter and by 1.7% compared with the third quarter of 2024. Year on year, the construction price index was affected the most by the rising prices of building materials.

The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, increased by 0.5% in September 2025 compared with August and by 0.5% compared with September last year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September, the consumer price index decreased by 1.1% compared with August and increased by 5.2% compared with September 2024. Goods were 2.8% and services 8.9% more expensive than in September last year.

Compared with September last year, the HICP rose by 5.2%. The HICP is a flash estimate, which will be revised based on the September price data.
The dwelling price index up by 5.5% year on year
According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2025, the dwelling price index increased by 3.6% compared with the first quarter and by 5.5% compared with the second quarter of 2024.
