Jane Leppmets, foreign trade analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that exports of goods of Estonian origin increased by 6% in November, while re-exports decreased by 2%. “The share of goods of Estonian origin in total exports was up by two percentage points in November, accounting for 66%. Evelin Puura, the foreign trade statistics team lead at Statistics Estonia, pointed out that Estonia's exports were significantly affected by the re-exports of previously imported goods which increased by 30% year on year. “The rise in re-exports was mainly due to transport equipment,” Puura added. Exports of goods of Estonian origin grew by 4% compared with February last year, accounting for 65% of total exports.
