Conscious and purposeful data collection for producing official statistics started in Estonia 101 years ago. The virtual exhibition 100 Years of Estonian Statistics concludes the year of the 100th anniversary of Statistics Estonia by taking the viewers on a discovery trip from the first official data on the population of Estonia to the classified statistics of the Soviet Union.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2015 the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and in foreign countries amounted to 2.0 billion euros, which is 5% less than in 2014. The construction volumes have decreased for two years in a row.

Taking into account only the Estonian construction market, the construction volumes increased 18%. It is the biggest increase in construction volumes in the last five years.
