According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2018, compared to March of the previous year, the turnover of retail trade enterprises increased 1% at constant prices. While in February, the turnover increased 3% compared to the same month of the previous year, the growth decelerated slightly in March.

In March, the volume of industrial production was greater than a year ago

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2018, the production of industrial enterprises increased 8% compared to March 2017. Production increased in manufacturing as well in mining and in energy.

Construction price index continued to rise moderately

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2018, the producer price index of industrial output changed by 0.2% compared to February and by 2.9% compared to March 2017.

According to Statistics Estonia, 47.7% of Estonian enterprises were innovative in 2016. Industrial enterprises are the most active innovators.

In February, trade increased

According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2018, the exports of goods increased by 15% and imports by 13% compared to February 2017. There was significant growth in exports to non-EU countries, mineral products (fuels and fuel additives) were exported the most.
