HICP flash estimate: prices up by 0.9% in August
According to the preliminary estimate of Statistics Estonia, in August 2025, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), which includes the expenditures of tourists, increased by 0.9% compared with July. In comparison with July last year, the HICP rose by 6.2%. The HICP is a flash estimate, which will be revised based on the August price data.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2014, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 966 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 6.02 euros.
