According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2020, compared to February 2019, the exports of goods decreased by 6% and imports by 2%. Both exports and imports declined the most in respect of countries outside the European Union.

Jane Leppmets, foreign trade analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that there was a marked decline in trade in goods in the first quarter of 2024, as exports were down by 16% and imports by 11%. “In the third quarter, imports were unchanged and there was a slight uptrend in exports. According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2017, compared to February 2016, the turnover of retail trade enterprises increased 1% at constant prices. While in January, the turnover increased 2% compared to the same month of the previous year, in February the growth decelerated slightly.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2010 compared to the same period of the previous year, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and in foreign countries increased 1.2%. The decline on construction market, which had lasted for two and half years compared to the same quarter of the previous year turned to a rise again in the 3rd quarter this year.
