According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the construction price index in the 1st quarter of 2017 was 0.4% compared to the 4th quarter of 2016, and 0.7% compared to the 1st quarter of 2016.

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2017, the producer price index of industrial output changed by 0.0% compared to February and by 3.1% compared to March 2016.

According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2017, the exports of goods increased by 6% and imports by 1% compared February 2016. In February, the exports of goods of Estonian origin grew 9%, while re-exports stayed at the same level as one year ago.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the number of international traffic passengers served by Estonian ports increased by 4%, but the freight volume of ports in tonnes decreased by 4% compared to the previous year.

On 13–15 March in Brussels, the Estonian team won the 3rd prize, after Croatia and France, in the "European Big Data Hackathon", organised by the European Commission statistical office Eurostat.
