According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2013 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and foreign countries grew 0.4%. In Estonia the construction activities increased 4%, but in foreign countries the construction volumes decreased nearly by a third.

On 7 October, Statistics Estonia will launch a pilot Labour Force Survey, which will be conducted in parallel to the regular Labour Force Survey. The aim of the pilot survey is to test the renewed questionnaire and methodology, which will be implemented in 2021.
