According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2014, the producer price index of industrial output changed by 0.4% compared to December 2013 and by –0.2 % compared to January 2013.
According to Statistics Estonia, the consumer price index increased 3.5% in June 2010 compared to June of the previous year and 0.4% compared to May this year.

According to the 2021 census, an estimated one third of the population have a long-term illness or health problem. This is 2 percentage points more than in the previous census in 2011. 28% of the population are limited in their daily activities because of a health problem.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the tourism high season in July, domestic and foreign tourists having stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments numbered 488,000, which was 6% more than in July 2015.
October marked the beginning of the European Social Survey 2018, organised by the University of Tartu and Statistics Estonia. The survey is conducted in 30 European countries and focuses on such topics as age discrimination, family formation and having children. In Estonia, the survey covers 2,000 persons, who are going to be visited by Statistics Estonia’s interviewers.
On Monday, 7 November, the Estonian Debating Society and Statistics Estonia will launch a series of debates, called “Estonia’s Most Important Debate”, focussing on population issues. During the week, researchers and politicians will debate with young people in six different locations in Estonia.
