According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in April 2014 was 0.0% compared to March 2014 and 0.2% compared to April of the previous year.
Thursday, 3 November is the last day one can apply for the enumerator’s post at the Population and Housing Census starting at the end of the year. For conducting the Population Census, Statistics Estonia recruits 2,000 enumerators as total.
At 00:00 on Saturday, 31 December, the eleventh population and housing census will begin in Estonia. In January, residents can participate in the census online, by completing the census questionnaire at www.rel2011.ee.
This year, for the first time, Statistics Estonia distributed the deadlines of the EKOMAR questionnaire over a longer period and, depending on the economic activity of the enterprise, the deadline fell in the period of 1–8 July.
