The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, increased by 0.7% in June 2024 compared with May and decreased by 0.5% compared with June last year.

According to Statistics Estonia, accommodation establishments served over 293,000 tourists in May 2024, which is 11% more than in May last year. There were more domestic as well as foreign tourists accommodated.

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2023, the total production of industrial enterprises decreased by 5.8% at constant prices compared with the corresponding month of 2022. Output fell in all three sectors: by 10.8% in electricity production, by 5.4% in manufacturing and by 2.4% in mining.

Output declined in two of the three main sectors: by 29.2% in electricity production and by 12.4% in manufacturing. In mining, output increased by 1.6%.

Output declined in two of the three main sectors: by 14.0% in electricity production and by 12.6% in manufacturing. In mining, output increased by 12.9%.

Construction volume fell by 6% last year

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2023, the total production value of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad decreased by 6% at constant prices compared with 2022. Considering only the domestic market, the fall in construction volume was 7%.
