According to Statistics Estonia, in 2011 the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 7.6% compared to the previous year. In the 4th quarter, GDP growth decelerated to 4.5% according to the second estimates.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2016, the exports and imports of goods both decreased by 2% compared to June of the previous year. The decrease in trade was mostly influenced by a significant drop in the exports and imports of mineral products.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the cereal production was 771,900 tons in 2011, which is 14% more than in the previous year. Compared to the previous year, the production of wheat, barley and rye increased.

According to Statistics Estonia, the construction price index increased 3.1% in 2011 compared to the average of 2010, of which labour force 7.6%, building machines 2.0% and building materials 1.5%.
