According to the guidelines of the Government of the Republic, Statistics Estonia is starting negotiations with mobile network operators to resume mobility analysis that was conducted last spring. The goal of the planned mobility analysis is to help evaluate the impact of adopted measures on the movement of people, direct communication and surveillance resources in Estonian regions and assess change in the risk of infection. Statistics Estonia used the same methodology for conducting mobility analysis during the emergency situation in spring 2020.

Jane Leppmets, foreign trade statistics analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that goods of Estonian origin accounted for 63% of Estonia’s total exports in July, and this share rose by four percentage points year on year. “Exports of goods of Estonian origin increased by 10% compared with July last year. Conference “Small Estonia, big Europe – what do statistics show?” of Statistics Estonia and Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, is taking place today, 24 October. The conference focuses on consumers of statistics.

According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in September 2015 was -0.6% compared to August 2015 and -0.7% compared to September of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, 22.5% of Estonia’s population lived at risk of poverty and 3.5% in absolute poverty in 2022. Compared with 2021, the share of people living at risk of poverty decreased by 0.3 percentage points and the share of people living in absolute poverty increased by 2.1 percentage points.

According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in July 2015 was -0.4% compared to June 2015 and -0.3% compared to July of the previous year.
