Data from Statistics Estonia show that the most popular online services used by the population in Estonia are banking and email. Compared with 2023, the number of social media users has increased – up by 5.7% in 2024.
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, 847,800 tonnes of milk and 79,900 tonnes of meat were produced in 2020. This is, respectively, 3% and 5% more than the year before. The utilised agricultural area without kitchen gardens increased by 3,000 hectares and totalled 983,000 hectares.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2023, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,812 euros, which is 10.4% higher than in the same quarter last year. The median wages were 1,500 euros, which is 11.2% more than in the third quarter last year.
