Today, at midnight of 2 February, the e-census which had lasted for a month came to an end. The first results of the e-census will be released by Statistics Estonia on Monday, 6 February.
According to Statistics Estonia, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 10.7% in 2013 compared to the average of the previous year. Compared to 2012, the prices of apartments increased by 13.3% and the prices of houses by 4.1%.
According to Statistics Estonia, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 5.5% in 2017 compared to the average of 2016. In the annual comparison, the prices of apartments increased by 5.4% and the prices of houses by 5.8%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2008 compared to November of the previous year the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises decreased 9% at constant prices.
According to Statistics Estonia, there were about 7,000 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 1st quarter of 2013. Compared to the same period of the previous year, their number decreased by 1.1%, but increased by 5.7% compared to the previous quarter.
According to Statistics Estonia, in July, 524,000 tourists stayed in accommodation establishments, which is 4% more than in July 2018. The number of nights spent by foreign and domestic tourists increased by 7%.
A cartoon has been created in cooperation between the website lastekas.ee and Statistics Estonia. It features the popular cartoon character Bunny Juss and his family who tell the children about the Population and Housing Census, which begins on this Saturday, 31 December.
According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in February 2017 was 1.3% compared to January 2017 and 3.4% compared to February of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2009 compared to February of the previous year the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises decreased 18% at constant prices.
