According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2014, the total profit of the business sector was 705 million euros, which was 10% more than in the same period a year ago.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2013 the total profit of the business sector was 647 million euros, which was 3% more than in the same period a year earlier. If the year ago the increase of enterprise sector’s total profit was on average 7% then in the 1st quarter this year the growth slowed down.
In the third quarter of 2023, the gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 3.9% compared with the same quarter of 2022. The GDP at current prices amounted to 9.4 billion euros.
According to Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia in 2013 increased 0.8% compared to the previous year. In the 4th quarter of 2013, the Estonian economy grew 0.3% compared to the 4th quarter of 2012.
According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2015, exports of goods decreased by 12% and imports by 13% compared to October of the previous year. The decrease in exports and imports was mostly influenced by a decrease in the trade of mineral products and electrical equipment.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the first quarter of 2021, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,473 euros. Highest were in Harju and Tartu counties, in information and communication, financial and insurance activities and the energy sector.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2020, power plants produced 5,516 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity, which is three quarters of last year’s production. The volume of electricity produced from oil shale decreased by a half.
According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2012, exports from Estonia amounted to 1.1 billion euros and imports to Estonia to 1.3 billion euros at current prices. Both, the turnover of exports as well as imports, were record high, at the same time the trade deficit increased.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2023, the construction price index decreased by 0.5% compared with the first quarter and increased by 6.8% compared with the second quarter of 2022.
