The highest numbers of job vacancies in education, trade and manufacturing

According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2021, there were 11,518 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. This number increased by a third year on year. More than 8,500 persons left their jobs on the employer’s initiative.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the fourth quarter of 2021, there were 11,103 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. This is 28% more than in the same quarter of 2020. About 7,500 persons left their jobs on the employer’s initiative.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2009 exports of goods at current prices totalled 9.4 billion kroons and imports 9.8 billion kroons. Petroleum products accounted for a quarter of the trade.

What kind of survey is it? The results of the European Social Fund (ESF) Participants Survey are used to assess the effectiveness of the use of European Social Fund money. Who commissions the survey? The survey is conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance. Why are the data needed? Since 2014, Estonia has been allocated nearly €600 million from the European Social Fund (ESF), which is used to finance retraining, support person services, training programmes, and other activities for the unemployed. The effectiveness of using these funds cannot only be measured by spending, but also
