According to Statistics Estonia, in 2020, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 6% compared to the average of 2019. In the fourth quarter of 2020, it rose by 4.8% compared to the same quarter of 2019.

On 20–21 April a conference of the Estonian Statistical Society “Kas Eesti rahvas jääb püsima?” (Will Estonian Population Survive?) will be held at the National Library of Estonia in Tallinn. During these two days the focus will be on the questions related to the survival of Estonian population.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2012, the number of passengers served by the Estonian transport enterprises and passenger turnover increased 17% and 7%, respectively. The freight capacity decreased nearly 4% in tonnes as well as in tonne-kilometres.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2011, the number of passengers carried by Estonian transport enterprises continued to decrease for the fifth year in succession. The decline in the number of passengers carried was influenced the most by reduction of passengers in urban transport. Transport enterprises carried more goods compared to the previous year.
