Statistics Estonia’s wages and salaries application now includes wages data for the first quarter of 2020. Also, median wages for 11 more groups of occupations were added.
In 2023, Estonia’s exports of goods amounted to €18.2 billion and imports to €21.2 billion at current prices. Exports decreased by 16% and imports by 17% compared with 2022. According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, on 1 January 2022, the population of Estonia was 1,328,439, which is 1,629 persons less than at the same time a year ago. In 2021, there were 13,138 births and 18,445 deaths in Estonia. Based on the data on registered migration, 12,280 persons immigrated to Estonia and 8,602 persons emigrated from Estonia.
According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2022, the consumer price index increased by 2.7% compared to February 2022 and by 15.2% compared to March 2021. Goods were 13.7% and services 18.1% more expensive than in March last year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, Estonian museums were visited slightly more than 3.5 million times, which is 100,000 visits more than the year before.
According to Statistics Estonia, in November, the consumer price index rose by 0.1% compared to October. The index fell by 1.1% compared to November 2019, with goods being 1.2% and services 0.9% cheaper.
