According to Statistics Estonia's survey on information technology, the use of artificial intelligence-based technologies has risen significantly in 2024 compared with the previous year, and cyber security has become increasingly important. 5% of enterprises used at least one AI technology in 2023, whereas in 2024, this figure has risen to 14%. Today, on 29 July, Statistics Estonia presents the publication "Eesti statistika aastaraamat. 2015. Statistical Yearbook of Estonia", which provides a statistical overview of life in Estonia and comparisons with other European Union countries.

Statistics Estonia presents today, i.e. on 31 July, the newly published publication “Eesti statistika aastaraamat. 2009. Statistical Yearbook of Estonia“, which gives an overview of the Estonian environment, social and economic life and provides comparisons with other European countries.

In 2012, Statistics Estonia will collect the data from nearly 40,000 economic units. From now on, it is possible to check on the web site of Statistics Estonia whether the economic unit has been picked into the sample and has an obligation to submit the data.

According to Statistics Estonia, the average monthly gross wages and salaries in the first quarter of 2024 were €1,894, which is 8.8% higher than in the same quarter the year before. The median wages were €1,553 in the first quarter of this year and €1,424 in the same quarter of 2023.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2021, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 15.1% compared to the average of 2020.
