According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2022, Estonia’s exports of goods increased by 31% and imports by 33% compared to May 2021. Trade grew with most of our main trading partners.
According to the flash estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 3.7% in the 4th quarter of 2012 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The annual GDP growth in 2012 was 3.2% compared to the previous year.
Statistics Estonia’s mobility analysis revealed that since the emergency situation and movement restrictions were implemented, people living in Estonia stay in their main location 20 hours per day on average. The distance covered in one day as well as the number of trips has decreased. The revised analysis shows that the share of people staying in their main location has increased by 16 percentage points, which means that an estimated 200,000 more people have stayed local.
According to Statistics Estonia, by flash estimations, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia decreased by 15.6% in Estonia in the 1st quarter of 2009 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2013 the total profit of the business sector was 3.1 billion euros, which was 5% more than the year earlier. The increase in the enterprise sector’s total profit continued for the fourth year in a row.
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2018, the total profit of the business sector was 2.9 billion euros, which is 4% more than the year before.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2021, the construction price index increased by 8.3% compared to the average of 2020. In the fourth quarter of last year, the construction price index rose by 3.0% compared to the third quarter, while the index growth compared to the fourth quarter of 2020 reached a record high – 14.7%.
In July 2022, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, rose by 0.4% compared with June and by 28.8% compared with July 2021.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2021, the total production value of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad increased by 17% year on year. Considering only the Estonian construction market, the growth in construction volume was 18%.
