The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, fell by 1.3% in September compared with August 2022 and rose by 23.2% compared with September 2021.

At the end of the year, on 28 December, the Population and Housing Census, conducted every ten years, starts in Estonia. Everyone living in Estonia is invited to complete an online questionnaire for the census by 22 January 2022. According to Statistics Estonia, more than 481,000 tourists stayed in accommodation establishments in July 2023, up by 1% from the same month a year earlier and 43% more than in June 2023. Compared with July last year, accommodation establishments hosted more foreign tourists and fewer domestic tourists.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the fourth quarter of 2022, there were 11,289 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. This is 1.7% more than in the same quarter of 2021. Fewer than 7,000 persons left their job at the initiative of the employer.
