According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2021, Estonia’s rapid trade growth continued. Exports of goods increased by 30% and imports by 36% year on year. Growth was highest in trade with the European Union Member States and primarily with the neighbouring countries.

She added that there were a total of 54,200 unemployed persons in the third quarter, which is 5,000 fewer than in the second quarter and 2,100 fewer than in the third quarter of last year. The unemployment rate (7.1%), i.e. the share of the unemployed in the labour force, was 0.3 percentage points lower in the third quarter than in the same quarter last year (7.4%) and 0.7 percentage points

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the total turnover of retail trade enterprises in 2022 was 10.5 billion euros. Compared with 2021, turnover increased by 2% at constant prices.
