Domestic tourism helped Estonian accommodation establishments

According to Statistics Estonia, in June, 121,000 domestic tourists and 42,000 foreign tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments. Their total number of nights spent was 301,000. Compared to June 2019, the number of tourists dropped by 60%, but their number was higher than in the last few months.

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2013, the production of industrial enterprises increased by 7% compared to October of the previous year. The production exceeded the volume of the previous year in most of the branches of industry.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2015, exports of goods decreased by 6% and imports decreased by 10% compared to May of the previous year. The biggest decrease occurred in the exports and imports of agricultural products and food preparations, mechanical appliances and mineral products.

Absolute poverty means that a person’s income is below the absolute poverty threshold. According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2015, exports of goods decreased by 10% and imports by 9% compared to September of the previous year. Summing up the first three quarters of 2015, exports decreased 3% and imports 5% compared to the same period a year ago.
