According to Statistics Estonia, an estimated 80% of the population aged 20–64 participated in adult education in the previous year*. Census data show that 58% of the population was employed at the end of 2021, which is 6 percentage points more than 10 years ago. The increase is mainly due to persons of retirement age, but also slightly to the unemployed and students.

According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in May 2020 was -0.7% compared to April 2020 and -1.7% compared to May 2019. Compared to May of the previous year, goods were 1.5% and services 2.0% cheaper.
