According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the total turnover of retail trade enterprises in 2023 was 10.5 billion euros. Compared with 2022, turnover decreased by 8% at constant prices.

Statistics Estonia’s survey “Information technology in enterprises” shows that the use of artificial intelligence (AI) by Estonian enterprises is steadily increasing. The use of data analytics is also growing.

In June 2021, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, increased by 2.6% compared to May 2021 and by 9.4% compared to June 2020.

Monday, 28 February, marked the end of the second stage of the Population and Housing Census where data were collected from people living at the addresses included in the mandatory sample. The survey component of the census has ended, but data collection from registers continues until July, to ensure that all residents of Estonia are counted.
