According to Statistics Estonia, today, on 16 September at 9.00 a.m. a job competition will be opened for recruiting 132 supervisors of enumerators for the 2011 Population and Housing Census.

According to the final results of the 2013 Farm Structure Survey, there were 19,200 agricultural holdings in Estonia, of which nearly 1,000 largest ones produce more than three-quarters of standard output, announces Statistics Estonia. At the same time, there are 4,500 agricultural holdings which do not produce agricultural products but only maintain their lands in good agricultural and environmental condition.

In 2017, the unemployment rate was 5.8%, the employment rate 67.5% and the labour force participation rate 71.6%. According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2010, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 12,869 kroons (822 euros) and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 75.81 kroons (4.85 euros).
