Industrial production continued to fall in June

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2023, the total production of industrial enterprises decreased by 12.6% at constant prices compared with a year earlier. Output declined in two of the three main sectors: by 29.2% in electricity production and by 12.4% in manufacturing. In mining, output increased by 1.6%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2019, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 4% compared to June 2018. Production increased in manufacturing, but decreased in energy as well as in mining.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2022, Estonian accommodation establishments served nearly 337,000 tourists, which is 56% more than in June last year. The number of both domestic and foreign tourists* increased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June, the consumer price index increased by 0.7% compared with May 2023 and by 9.2% compared with June 2022. Goods were 9.0% and services 9.2% more expensive than in June last year.
