According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2019, compared to April 2018, the exports and imports of goods increased by 4%. Since the beginning of the year, exports and imports have been on an upward trend compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 4th quarter of 2008, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 13,117 kroons and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 79.58 kroons. Compared to the 4th quarter of 2007, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 6.9% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 9.9% higher. The role of household consumption decreased. After years of decline, investments began to increase again as a result of improved economic climate, indicating a positive mind-set of entrepreneurs.
