The interactive charts provide an overview of the situation of enterprises on the basis of VAT returns. The statistics cover companies liable to VAT and self-employed persons who have submitted a VAT return. Data are presented for three time periods. According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2009 compared to June of the previous year, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 30%. The steep decline in industrial production that had started at the end of the previous year continued in June.

According to Statistics Estonia, by flash estimates, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 6.6% in the 4th quarter of 2010 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. In 2010, the annual GDP grew by 3.1% compared to the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index was 0.5% in July 2011 compared to June and 5.2% compared to July of the previous year.
