According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the third quarter of 2023, Estonia’s exports of services grew by 1% and imports by 3% at current prices compared with the same quarter of 2022. Sales of services to non-residents totalled 2.8 billion euros and purchases of services from non-residents amounted to 2.2 billion euros. The balance of foreign trade in services was in surplus by 557 million euros.

Evelin Puura, the foreign trade statistics team lead at Statistics Estonia, pointed out that Estonia's exports were significantly affected by the re-exports of previously imported goods which increased by 30% year on year. “The rise in re-exports was mainly due to transport equipment,” Puura added. Exports of goods of Estonian origin grew by 4% compared with February last year, accounting for 65% of total exports. Today, on 9 March, Statistics Estonia launches the Household Budget Survey of 2015, which collects data from households on their everyday expenditure and consumption. The previous survey was conducted in 2012.

According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2014, the production of industrial enterprises did not change compared to February of the previous year. The production in manufacturing and mining increased, while the production in energy decreased.
