Evelin Puura, the foreign trade statistics team lead at Statistics Estonia, pointed out that Estonia's exports were significantly affected by the re-exports of previously imported goods which increased by 30% year on year. “The rise in re-exports was mainly due to transport equipment,” Puura added. Exports of goods of Estonian origin grew by 4% compared with February last year, accounting for 65% of total exports. Yesterday, on 3 November the competition for enumerator’s post came to an end. As total, over 6,600 persons wish to become an enumerator in different regions of Estonia.

Statistics Estonia has extended the application period for enumerator jobs until 28 November in Tallinn, Harju county, Tartu county and Ida-Viru county where there have not been enough applicants. Over 6,900 applications in total have been submitted to the competition.
