According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2010 exports of goods from Estonia amounted to 860 million euros (13.5 billion kroons) at current prices and imports to Estonia reached 900 million euros (14.1 billion kroons). The turnover of exports per month has not been so big before, but imports were bigger last in October 2008.

In 2021, Estonian residents made 575,000 outbound overnight trips, which is 3% more than the year before. The number of overnight domestic trips was nearly 2.3 million – this is 6% more than in 2020. Last year, the expenditures on outbound trips amounted to over 495 million euros and the expenditures on domestic trips to more than 402 million euros.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2011 the production of industrial enterprises grew 24% compared to June of the previous year. If at the beginning of the year the production grew around 30%, then in May and June the growth of industrial production slightly slowed down compared to the same month of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2010 compared to October 2009, exports of goods from Estonia grew by 47% and imports to Estonia by 38%. Bigger growth in exports compared to imports decreased also the trade deficit.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2010 exports of goods from Estonia amounted to 8.75 billion euros at current prices and imports to Estonia made up 9.27 billion euros. Last year exports of goods exceeded the highest level so far (the level of 2008) where the turnover of exports amounted to 8.47 billion euros.

Environmental measures implemented by the state support the development of environmentally friendly consumption and production habits. One of these measures is environmental taxes. Their share in the total tax revenue in Estonia has increased over the years. The purpose of environmental taxes is to mitigate the negative impact of human activity on the environment and to reduce environmental pollution. Examples of environmental taxes are pollution, energy and transport taxes. Statistics on environmental protection funding provide information on environmental protection expenditures

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2022, the consumer price index increased by 2.7% compared to February 2022 and by 15.2% compared to March 2021. Goods were 13.7% and services 18.1% more expensive than in March last year.
