According to Statistics Estonia, by flash estimations, the gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 9.4% in Estonia in the 4th quarter of 2008 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.

Year on year, there were decreased exports from Estonia to the United States, Russia and Singapore, and increased imports from Turkey and Switzerland,” explained Leppmets. According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in April 2015 was 0.5% compared to March 2015 and -0.1% compared to April of the previous year.
