According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2011, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 857 euros and they grew 4.2% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. But the real wages continued the falling trend, which had lasted for over two years and a half already.

If at the beginning of the year the production grew around 30%, then in May and June the growth of industrial production slightly slowed down compared to the same month of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2010, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 12,869 kroons (822 euros) and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 75.81 kroons (4.85 euros). Compared to the 2nd quarter of the previous year, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 1.2% higher and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 1.7% lower.

The annual growth of industrial production was smaller than in the previous month. The slowdown of the growth was most of all influenced by the production of electronic products and energy.
