According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2018 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and foreign countries increased by 16%. Taking into account only Estonian construction market, construction volume increased by 18%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2021, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 779 million euros. Compared to July 2020, turnover increased by 10% at constant prices.
According to Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia in 2014 increased 2.1% compared to 2013. In the 4th quarter of 2014, the Estonian economy grew 3.0% compared to the 4th quarter of 2013.
According to Statistics Estonia, 4,637 persons emigrated from Estonia and 3,904 persons immigrated to Estonia in 2014. The volume of emigration was 30% smaller than in the previous three years.
In 2022, the average monthly gross wages and salaries in Estonian companies, institutions, and organisations were 1,685 euros, which is 8.9% more than in 2021. However, the average real wages decreased by 8.8% to 1,358 euros last year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2012, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 3% compared to August of the previous year. The decline in the production was most of all influenced by the manufacturing of electronic and metal products.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, a household member spent an average of 408 euros per month, which is 13 euros more than in 2015. Compulsory expenditure, i.e. unavoidable food and dwelling expenses, accounted for 40% of the household budget, remaining at the level of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 4th quarter of 2009 less than half of the population in age group 15–74 coped well in economic terms, two years earlier the respective figure was 60%.
