According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2021, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 2.8% year on year. Production increased by 11.8% in energy production and by 3.5% in manufacturing, but decreased by 39.7% in mining.
In July 2021, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, increased by 4.0% compared to June 2021 and by 14.8% compared to July 2020.
According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the first quarter of 2023, Estonia’s exports of services grew by 15% and imports by 11% at current prices compared with the first quarter of 2022.
According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2009 compared to October of the previous year, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 21%. In the earlier months of this year, the decrease remained within 30% compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, there were 7,200 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 1st quarter of 2014. The number of job vacancies increased by 13% compared to the previous quarter and by 3% compared to the 1st quarter of 2013.
According to Statistics Estonia, in August, the total production of industrial enterprises increased 0.8% at constant prices compared with August 2021. Output rose in two of the three sectors – up 10.2% in electricity production and as much as 121.4% in mining – but fell 3.7% in manufacturing.
According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2020, compared to June 2019, the exports of goods remained at the same level and imports decreased by 8%. In the second quarter of 2020, exports decreased by 15% and imports by 18% year on year.
